- Setoff;
- Cellulose-based;
- Micro-corrugated cardboard.
Setoff cardboard is less tough in comparison with two other types as well as a grayish tint. But its cost is lower.
Cellulose-based cardboard packaging for food is the most commonly used. This cardboard is white, smoother which means that while printing an ink lays down smoothly and brightly.
Micro-corrugated cardboard is used less frequently but if you need to pack products that need more protection you cannot do it without this material.
Self-assembled cardboard food packaging can be in such shapes:
- Square;
- Rectangular;
- Case;
- Triangular;
- Hexagonal;
- Double-cover box;
- Dovetail joint, etc.
Packaging may also contain various bracing and lodgement for better product fixation.
