How is the cardboard spliced?

The printed packaging layout is folded in the necessary corners and spliced along the marked lines. There may be one or more gluing dots.

The glue that is placed on a surface of a product dries quickly so the splicing is conducted on high-speed equipment. Thus, the process is extremely simple and quick. The layout can also be spliced manually but this happens only if the packaging design is quite complex.
