Cardboard lamination is a type of post-printing processing that is commonly used in the packaging manufacture. The base for printing a film can be either cardboard or paper or made of any other material.

Laminated cardboard can be successfully used for many reasons but it has become particularly popular in the packaging industry. Types of lamination

It can be laminated using cold and hot methods. Due to methods’ names it is clear that hot lamination requires high temperatures, for a secure attachment of the film to the base (due to the activation of the adhesive layer). Cold lamination consists of pressing the film onto the base.
